Terms of Use
The terms that apply when you download and use Overink: Tattoo Cover Up.
The store's standard terms
Overink is distributed through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. If you download it from the App Store, your use of Overink is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; if you download it from Google Play, by the Google Play Terms of Service; in both cases together with these terms. Overink is for adults.
Subscriptions, credits and packs
AI renders use credits: each render, and each design on white, uses 100 credits. Your first render is free, once per phone. A subscription gives you credits each period: the weekly plan 2,000 credits (20 renders) every week, the yearly plan 2,000 credits (20 renders) every month. There is no free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown before you confirm, until you cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. A special offer, when shown, is a lower price for the first period stated in the offer only, after which the plan renews at its normal price. Credits from a subscription do not carry over to the next period. Credit packs are one-time purchases that never renew; pack credits and credits received as an invite gift do not expire.
If a render fails for a technical reason, its credits are returned once our server has confirmed the failure. Credits are tied to your anonymous User ID in the app; used credits cannot be restored, and we cannot promise that an unused balance moves to another device or survives deleting the app. Purchases are billed by Apple or Google, which handle refunds under their policies.
Invites
When a friend enters your invite code, they receive 300 credits (3 renders), and you receive 300 credits when their first render is finished. Rewards are given once per phone, cannot be earned by inviting yourself, and may be limited or held for review to prevent abuse.
Your photos, designs and renders
Use only photos of yourself, or of adults who have agreed, and only designs you have the right to use. Do not use Overink to make content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual or misleading about a real person. Renders are made by our third-party AI providers’ models from your photo and design: they are a preview for inspiration, not a promise of how a tattoo or a cover-up will look, heal or age, and not medical advice about skin or scars. Talk to a qualified tattoo artist before getting a tattoo. Review a render before you share it, and if a render looks wrong or offensive, report it in the app.
